This is one of the first impressions that is long overdue (watched this weeks ago). My friend DB brought over his xbox and we started to watch random shows the crunchyroll app (this being one of them). I didn’t want to talk about at the time so I just kept putting on the backburner.
Let’s get this out of the way:
- Japan has strange views on guns.
- It’s odd to see under 18’s using bebe guns that don’t have orange tips.
*I’m good now.*
If the idea of a comedy anime about guns hasn’t scared you off then you might find some value in this shows dark humour. I call the humour in this show dark because there is one section in the first episode where the girls are pretending to kill each other in an over the top shooting fest….yehhhhhh! You could easily look too deep into the implications of their fantasies and how they play out in the real world.
*It felt like they were enjoying the idea of killing each other a little too much.*
The show had chosen an interesting art style when you compare it to the topic of the show (it’s strange to see something so cutesy firing a gun). This is a well animated anime that manages to bring the laughs when needed.
