I don’t want to spam my blog.
^-o Work was a pain today, someone seemed to have smashed a glass bottle of alcohol on the floor and didn’t think to leave me a note (they cleaned it up with my toilet mop Y_Y).
My boss called me today and told me my work hours are going to be longer *YAY!*.
Instead of going 9 hours a week I’m now doing 12 hours a week.
^_o In total I do 24 hours a week when both jobs are added up.
*I work Saturdays and holidays.*
Sure hope I get this job at the end of the 3 month trail (think I have done a good job).
XD This had me cracking up.
call “Is the lady of the house in?” *thick Indian accent*
call: “sorry, is the head lady of the house in?”
*Wouldn’t the head lady of the house be the mistress? *shakes head* get your mind back on track.*
me: “who are you?”
call: “er…looking for the lady”
me: “no, who are you? what do you want?”
When I told my mother about the call she wondered why I didn’t milk her on?
Mum: “^-^ There are so many good lines to choose from! sorry the Ladies of the house are out horse riding; I’m only scullery maid, would you like me to go get the butler for the mistress is out; The mistress is not allowed to answer the phone without the masters permission.”
*^_^ I love British sarcasm.*
It’s been ages since I talked about this anime (forgot to put it on my list). SO, what do I think of this anime after 5 more episodes? It was a lot better then what I expected.
This anime is fill with a pantheon of Greeks gods….and the odd Japanese gods….why? Its not as if the geeks had a lack of gods to choose from (there is a god of door stops and belly button lint).
All of the characters feel flat however, there main goal is to fulfill a fetish that the audience can grab onto and crate there own sexy fantasies. The tone of the situations these lads are puts into with are main lass are well managed and hit you with an extra kick of umhhhf thanks to the overly good music score (it’s better then it has any business being).
The animation might be a little still frame abusive however, it makes up for that stunted movement with by making the god slightly stand apart (not by much) and knowing just how to play on each of fetishes there going for.
I find the story really weak but, you can tell the people who made this have a little understanding of what the shows main goal is.
T_T *Sorry for the people who had to watch this post go strange on there feed (kept messing it up).*
*rubs face and sighs* There have been way too many anime recently that don’t understand how anime/episodic visual media works (it’s getting under my skin).
The first half of this anime could have easily been shortened and the introduction of the yellow dragon could have been expanded on.
The only episode that could honestly stand alone is 12 “Blindfolded Dragon” (I recommend watching that 1 episode). *skip to the 11 minute mark*
O_0 I loved the second half of this anime however, thanks to that ending I have to say it’s not worth getting though that boring first half. Who ever thought it was a smart idea to just stop the anime dead and hope for a second season was an idiot for now we have a show that can’t even stand upon its own two feet by itself. All seasons of any show should be able to say “we managed to get from A (established start) to B (ending)” even if A-B are not the big goal there should have been something accomplished.
*They did find all the dragons.*
T_o Like yellow said “Why?” Yuna did gather all of the dragons but, she did nothing with them.
Got to episode 23 “where the heck is this last dragon?”
Epoisode 24: U_U It’s the last episode and you just about squeeze him into the story
I know this might seem like an odd question but…..why do I want Yuna to succeed? No honestly why? Part from her dad being killed and her loosening her home the people of the land aren’t exactly suffering from the rule of Su-won.
T-o I honestly think Yuna would be better off being a solider then a queen, she can save common people without the hindrance of petty politics. The only reason that I can see for Yuna watching the castle back is revenge and greed (not exactly great motivation).
XD The 5 dragon army!
My rating: 6/10
*I will convert the data in order to explain in better detail what went well and what was weak.*
Been looking forward to this for months!
^-^ Tonight is also DB’s first attempt at making roast chicken (hope he’s making something with it).
Finally I have downloaded the game Mabinogi and it has been driving me up the wall. XD The amount of times I exited a room by accident was staggering however, that isn’t helped by the angles the camera likes to get into (makes the map really hard to read at times).
*Getting really good at multitasking thanks to that game.*
I’m not going to get many chances to play it (for the same reason I’m having a hard time watching anime).
A cat climbed up onto the wall, dive into the garden and start wrestling the grass.
O_O it did this 3 times!
T-o yet I could not look away.
*sigh* XD I want to love this anime but I just can’t!
Is this anime an interesting look into the processes of making an anime? Yes.
Is this anime a good example of real anime production? NO!
This anime never brings up the budget. They also never consider cutting corners to reach the deadlines “We don’t want a low quality show” Y_o have you seen how drastically different DVD versions of anime can be compared to the TV counterpart?
In japan this would be seen as the blue ray DVD difference however, If your not from that country (like me) you will tend to find the fixed up blue ray version is both the DVD and blue ray.
The fan’s who pay for the DVD’s tend to get the more visually complete anime.
XD I know this anime was trying to make out that the last episode has lot of love put into it however, I personally find the most animation errors/recycling/Poor composition in the last episodes.
Could anyone visually follow what happened in episode 11 of wizard barristers?
How could we forgot “deivl and the realist” where we see the same set of monsters killed 3-4 times.
Pilots love song: Where the grass moves faster then the planes.
*No one ever watches an episode after production and goes “oh no,I forgot to colour that guys eye in!”*
The team never made mistakes (they were all just personal hurdles).
*You’re human, you will make mistakes.*
No anime is perfect and there will always be errors.
When I was calculating the rating for this anime I suddenly realised something? The actual story about the class of girls reaching there dreams was as dull as dish water and all of the characters were really forgettable (I don’t care about any of these people).
My rating: 4/10
O_O That shocked me. *I have a complex rating system.*
Only watch this if your interesting in the anime production process (it’s overly romanticized).
^_^ Last week was sandwich week and now we have entered the awesomeness that is tomato week (The things you hear on a shop radio station).
*My family have gone to a funeral so I’m stuck watching the dog.*
