Think I have mentioned on this blog before that I don’t like 24 episode shows (they just don’t work with the formula of this blog). After finishing episode I just turned to myself “Have I finished “Akame ga Kill!” Yet?” Lucky for me they are now both on the end list.
*24 episode anime have the cycle through my midway list 3 times.*
recap: This anime is about a beautiful small girl who fell in love with a muscle man.
What are my thought on this anime: The first half of the show was about these two getting to learn about each other and finally say they are deeply in love, the second half is……reaffirming what was said in the first half??? I think this anime is starting to suffer with “It’s making me money so lets stretch it out”syndrome.
I’m not complaining I love this anime but, I’m starting to notice that the show is running-out of ideas.
- Stereotypical Christmas
- 2 episode of girls wanting to confess there love
- theme parks day out
- focus an entire episode around kissing
I love the way they are executed, I just can’t get my head past how predictable these plots have become in the second half.
Honestly, cheer me up anime! The real world is depressing.
^_^ SWEET! this anime never fails to remind me of them cute moments normal couples share.
I’m happy that this anime hasn’t opted for the “thogh drama in halfway”route many shows take in order to create more plot for a 24 episode series.
These two characters have good chemistry creating entertaining outcomes no matter what scenario you place them in.
I know that the show is very basic in frame however, the huge level of warm charm it does manage to achieve is amazing.
I wish more romance anime could be as charming as this without having to make everyone over cute/sexy or overly dramatic.
sorry if the sentences are a little fragmented it’s getting late and my mood is getting very low. T_T Doesn’t help that I still can’t get in touch with a repair company my boss told me to contact (4 weeks of annoyance).
This anime is about two people who look really different but still love each other.
^_^ One of the reason I love this anime is because the premise is simple yet not over done. I feel that I can personally relate to this anime thanks to the reaction me and my boyfriend get when we walk around together (he is older than me).
Woman: it’s disgusting!
Men: Good on ya lad!
XD The reaction they get on the train sums it up perfectly.
Most romance anime are so over the top that you can’t really see the scenario happening to you, they are pure indulgent flights of fancy that no human would hope to happen or succeed in achieving.
This anime is over the top in its goofiness however, the heart and the affection in which these two feel is more realistic than hundreds of other anime romances I have seen over the years.
This is an average romance anime with a size difference gimmick…..that’s about it.
T-o My entire reaction to this anime was just one raised eyebrow as a tried to figure out if the show was trying to be funny or sincere.
I’m sorry this is so short (I honestly have nothing to say about this first episode).
Its not bad but, its not great, its just average.
